IN THE 1970'S, STUCCO WAS ALL THE RAGE. IN 2016, WE REMOVED ALL THE STUCCO TO SHOW THE BEAUTIFUL BRICK WORK LAYERED UNDERNEATH. WITH BRICK REPAIR REQUIRED ON THIS RESTORATION, THE THE ORIGINAL MASONRY WAS RESTORED TO ITS FORMER GLORY.

TATE HALL, WHICH IS THE MAIN BUILDING FOR THE MINNESOTA ACADEMY FOR THE DEAF, REQUIRED RENOVATIONS ON THEIR HISTORIC BUILDING INCLUDING LIMESTONE REPLACEMENT, RE-POINTING, REPAINTING, WOOD RESTORATION AND ROOF RESTORATION.

Trowbridge Band Shell | Waseca, MN
THE BANDSTAND, ERECTED AND DEDICATED IN 1915, STANDS IN MEMORY OF IRA C. TROWBRIDGE, FOUNDER OF WASECA. HIS DAUGHTERS FUNDED THE PROJECT AS A MEMORIAL TO THEIR FATHER, TO FURTHER CULTURAL ACTIVITIES OF THE CITY. BUILDING THE ORIGINAL STRUCTURE COST ABOUT $1,500 AND IT WAS CONSTRUCTED FROM STUCCOED CONCRETE. THIS MEMORIAL STANDS TODAY COMPLETELY FIREPROOF.

THESE ARE PARK SHELTERS BUILT IN 1929 DURING THE NEW DEAL TO PUT PEOPLE BACK TO WORK. THEY ARE LOCATED IN GOOSEBERRY FALLS STATE PARK, NEAR TWO HARBORS, MN. THE PROJECT CONSISTED OF TUCKPOINTING, NEW ROOFS, BATHROOM RENOVATIONS, PAINTING AND A HOST OF OTHER SERVICES.
